Code for the Protection of Personal Data

This document describes how Convergenze S.p.A. manages the processing of personal data belonging to the users who visit its site and web platforms.

This statement only concerns the site https://convergenze.it and the technical management of web platforms Open Net and Web Mail belonging to Convergenze S.p.A.

These data are used with the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information regarding the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The data could be used to ascertain a liability in case of any computer crimes against the website.

Finally, the law requires the acquisition of the user's consent for the processing of judicial data and data considered "sensitive" (i.e. the data "that could reveal racial or ethnic origin, religious orientation, philosophical views or of other kind, political opinions, membership of political parties, labor unions, religious organizations, philosophical associations and and personal data disclosing health and sex life"); therefore, in view of the fact that, when applying for contact, the user may communicate information falling into these categories, in compliance with art. 26 paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree no.196/2003, Convergenze S.p.A. will ask for the user's consent. If such consent is denied, it may not be possible to fulfill the user's requests.

User's Rights

The person to whom the personal data refers has the right to obtain confirmation, at any time, as to whether such data exists, know its content and origin, verify its accuracy and request its integration, updating or correction (art. 7 Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).

According to the same article, the user has the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or block of data treated in violation of the law, and oppose to its treatment for legitimate reasons.
