Convergenze and NaMeX sign an agreement to expand the access from the Network Access Point in Rome to the Convergenze I. C. datacenter in Capaccio Paestum

The agreement will allow Internet Service Providers around the Cilento area to connect to NaMeX directly from the Convergenze datacenter and improve the quality of both connectivity and service for their customers.

Ing. Rosario Pingaro, CEO and CTO of Convergenze S.p.A., said: "Finally we shot down one of the barriers that prevented the development of the local New Economy, which was the distance from the most important NAP. We at Convergenze feel proud to have a state-of-the-art datacenter, capable of meeting the growing needs of the telecommunications companies. We sincerely thank NaMeX for choosing our structure, which will effectively contribute to the improvement of the Internet world."

Maurizio Goretti, Managing Director of NaMeX, commented: "Signing this agreement with Convergenze has been a big step toward contributing to the technological growth of Cilento and giving more opportunities to the local Internet Service Providers that are emerging in this area. We are sure that this will result in a higher quality of connectivity services for end users.
