Convergenze S.p.A. Becomes a Telephone Operator!

Convergenze S.p.A. is very proud to announce that we have obtained the license of Local Telephone Operator from the Ministry of Communications.
This is an important milestone in the history of Convergenze, as the license allows us to interconnect directly our VoIP infrastructure with the national network, owned by Telecom Italia.
Convergenze will soon be able to reduce the termination rates and increase significantly the quality of conversations.
In June, we will have our phone exchange installed. Then, we will carry out the interconnection tests with Telecom Italia from July to September. Finally, we will start the installation in autumn.

There will be a new WLR department in our company, which will deal with traditional telephony. Our customers will not have to pay the monthly fee to Telecom Italia.
