Convergenze Jumps from Local to Global Through AMS-IX

Convergenze S.p.A. is very pleased to announce that we have now an access point outside the Italian territory.

In fact, a Point of Presence (PoP) has been successfully installed in  Amsterdam. This Internet access point is connected to our NaMeX node in Rome and will allow our network to reach the main Content Providers: Yahoo, Facebook, Google and its YouTube platform, Microsoft, etc.
Convergenze's PoP will improve significantly the quality and speed of our Internet bandwidth when accessing said providers, make more international Internet bandwidth available to us, as well as more peering.

This marks an important milestone in the history of Convergenze as we are now officially part of the global Internet and I would like to thank all of you for choosing our services and help us grow.
