What Is WiFi?
The international standard for our wireless network is IEE 802.11h a 5.4-5.7 Ghz, with 1 Watt density of maximum power exiting the antenna. Data transmission speed can reach 100 Mbps. The wireless connection between any network devices that have a specific card and an access point, which captures the wireless transmission and sends it through the cable network, is made using radio waves.
How Does It Work?
The service provided to the end consumer feels like a common ADSL connection. Access to the service ConWIFI UWA is gained through a small router that connects with the internet network using an outdoor antenna, usually placed on the roof of the building. This antenna is small and is powered by the common electrical power grid, and doesn't need any other device to function. The customer's antenna is permanently connected to our company's nearest access point which, in turn, is linked to the Internet through wireless or copper transmission.
Wireless technology provides many advantages to both business and residential customers.
With our ConWIFI UWA service structural costs are greatly reduced, as it is not bound to the limitations of the traditional broadband infrastructure.
No more monthly fee to Telecom Italia.
Our ConWIFI UWA service has benefited many businesses and residential customers whose geographical areas haven’t been reached by the broadband wire grid yet.
